The origins of Yorkshire are among the safest we know and not only because of its recent appearance, as documented for the commitment of some British farmers who, around 1870, as evidenced by writers of they used the old Lancashire and the first giant Bossu just landed in England from the continent, for canaries by default features even if, in fact, Bredsford already 50 years earlier, was brought up a "canary long, fine and upright." Around 1940 he introduced into the strain that gave Norwich to Yorkshire that wonderful combination of elegance and power which is currently the "gentleman "undisputed canaries.
